I had an appointment and still had to wait 2 hours before they began working on my car. If you are going to allow customers to make appointments, then you need to take their vehicle at the time of their appointment. If there are other people there that have not made an appointment, you need to tell them that if an appointment shows up, then their vehicle will be pushed back.
